How our pickup & dropoff windows work

"I would like my child dropped off at school by 8am"

PU/DO windows
1

When scheduling your ride you can select a 10-min window for either a pickup OR drop off, but not both.

2

Since Sheprd rides are carpooled, the other window is set to 40-min to account for other pickups and drop offs that may be scheduled.

3

If other parents in your area book rides around the same time, your child's ride may be shared with other students. If scheduled, these pickups and drop offs would take place during the 40-min window.

4

On the day of your ride, you will receive an SMS notification with an updated ETA for pickup and another when your child has been safely dropped off at their destination.

1

Our first step is to check our database to confirm we have notes on pickup/drop off procedures, facility contact information, and any additional safety notes.

2

If this is a brand new location that is not in our database, we will send you an email with instructions on how to add specific pickup/drop off notes for the location.

3

On the morning of your ride, the appropriate faculty member at your selected location will receive an daily roster with all passengers going to and from the location.

4

When your child is picked up or dropped off at the location either a driver or faculty member will be there to greet them or walk them inside the facility.
